Torval makes music, art, film and photography.
Well, he doesn’t actually make photography. He takes photos.
He’s produced and directed films, wrangled 400-person crews, and once literally herded cats on a Friskies commercial shoot. He creates music as Krom Labs—two albums so far, available wherever you stream things. He still finds time to pick up a guitar and play. Loud.
His art and photos have ended up in places he never expected: corporate walls, design books, international magazines, his mother’s fridge door.
He’s also written a book. It’s called Pee Standing Up. It’s about how all of this, somehow or another, came together.
He lives in Calgary with his wife, Jennifer. They are proud parents of Isaac.
